Thank you for your response.

You probably have a lot more Microsoft than me. But I know somebody that has more than you. Well, I don't know them personally, haven't even seen them, well except in a magazine... if that counts ;)

Anyway, your obvious and respected passion for Microsoft is what I fear may stand as an impediment to level-headed, humble, grounded and experienced approaches that I mentioned in the reply to Tony's post.

Tony's post alluded to a certain maturity and seasoned management at the illustrious Intel that is not discerned on the scrappy Microsoft bench, and, if I dare say, I do agree with some aspects of this suggestion.

I agree with you whole heartedly that Gates has indeed made a magnificent stand. But if he looks down he may notice the steel rails on either side of him, slightly rusty from centuries of use and the faint sound of a train whistle, approaching...coming...closer and closer ;)

Just my opinion.
