Online Music Service Provider's Email Database Grows Exponentially Since Launch One Year Ago

SAN DIEGO, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- MP3.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: MPPP), the premier online music service provider (MSP), today announced that its database of members registered by email address has grown to more than 10 million since the site was launched a year ago in February 1999.

Visitors who register with MP3.com receive a number of exclusive free benefits. Among them are:

-- The ability to create their own Station pages--music web pages where consumers, fans, industry professionals and artists can share songs from the entire MP3.com music database of more than 300,000 files; voice their opinions in text and HTML; and create communities of like- minded fans
