$3 billion for NTPL ? If my math is right that's about $48/share. I won't argue with that if they are having strong sales. I'm being conservative with my $1 billion number. I see they are being sold at Circuit City now, so i may take a trip to the local store and see if they are gathering dust on the shelves or anything. I like some of the reviews that are starting to come out about it. I think you are right on with your thoughts about equity investments and the possibility of a Merinta IPO. I'll bet they wouldn't have much trouble getting a round or two of VC cash, either, if they need it.
