Magic: The Gathering will outsell Civ II by a longshot!

This game serves three purposes for Magic: The Gathering players:

- On-line electronic tournaments now possible on anything from local modem to modem play to grand international gaming network tournaments with prizes!

- Computer AI is supposed to be able to beat 'champion' players and it also has deck building 'wizards' which will build a good deck for the player and the computer AI as well!

- MOST IMPORTANTLY, it is a database of almost all the Magic: The Gathering cards to date. It has a built in utility that prints out a players card deck once their finished! The entire Magic: The Gathering playing card deck is worth over $10,000! And that's for only one of each card. The more power cards a player wants the higher that value goes at an almost exponential rate. Can everyone see the implications of having it on a cheap $60 Win95 CDROM....

This game has been 2 and a half years in the making. It's now currently in beta-testing and will be released in a month.

It will also have expansion set upgrade packs which will be released and sold separately by Spectrum Holobyte as time goes on. That means continued revenue as time goes on.

People I know who are in to Magic: The Gathering are becoming very excited over the prosepects of this product. Here's the URL for a site dedicated to Spectrum's Magic: The Gathering put up by enthusiastic fans:

May good fortune await you all in your investment endeavours.
