RMBS interpertation is:

1) strong committment by Intel as described in keynote address at IDF and msg is clear is that transition is from SRDRAM to RDRAM.

IN 1Q00, 7 M RDRAM chips for PC's; 3 M for Sony PSII

2) performance matters visit Intel developer's web site
3) Willimette's Tehama 870 chipset uses RDRAM only
4) Timna initally with SDRAM with transition to RDRAM in 2001
5) co existant of SDRAM / RDRAM transition speed based around cost
6) Infinion and Hyundai 144 MBit RDRAM just have beem validated
7) DDR only in servers
8) no DDR in desktops
9) mobile will get RDRAM in future
10) rapid transition for workstation to RDRAM
