Short interest for AMES is way high, due to institutions picking up bargains. Herzog had taken over the lead in market making. So, the market for AMES is in the process of taking out the weak hands. When that fails, either a long suppressed period will begin or the market makers will have to depend on profit taking to buy back the shorted shares.
