My take was the British are far more socialist than we are.

Changing quickly. And they are certainly less socialist than their European neighbors.

Heck, Canada is more socialist than we are. Thank goodness they only have under 40 million people so when we eventually have to bail out their pension system, it won't be nearly as expensive as Europe's.
