I agree wholeheartedly what this poster said. Chuck S was a tired old man. When I saw him on CNBC couple of years ago, I noticed that not only was he inarticulate, but he hinted that the company was for sale as he mentioned that the management was not entrenched. He basically begged someone to buy the company by his body language. I am on the plus side on Pair, but I have, as many of you paid a heavy opportunity cost.

I am still investigating ADC Tel to see if I want to stick with this stock. I am a bit concerned about the wide range of products this company has. Do they support each other for a given set of customers. How is the sales force organized etc. It would be great to hear from others on this topic. The ADC board is not much help. MikeM any ideas?

I was quite impressed with the CEO on the interview that was posted here two days ago. I liked how he handled the questions. When the interviewed asked for amplification on how PAIR acquisition will influence the earnings going forward, he said that the numbers in the press release have been carefully arrived at and are not just something pulled from thin air (my paraphrasing, not his). Also when asked the question on who the key employers are, he mentioned that much careful thought had gone into keeping them. Management will naturally think all these things through, but my point is that when asked the question about them, he showed that his mind was well engaged as statements of this kind are a sign of an intellectually solid mind.
