Bruce, that assumes they have reserves to dump. I believe, as has been stated here before, that either the reserves have been liquidated or else pledged as collateral and are not available to the Russians. If it weren't for the IMF Russia would already be a third world economy, and I doubt they would allow a commodity such as Pd to lay around and not capitalize on it's meteoric rise in price.
