Steve, Hi!! Interesting story....A neighbor of mine who I worked for as a kid was a war correspondent and perhaps the most famous individual I will ever know....He had a close friend and author who wrote "Lucky Forward"....Patton's Third Army....Have known a few of these fellows in my life...One had hepatitis while being pinned down in a trench during that battle...My father was in the Pacific....He too didn't talk too much about any of what occurred or what he saw...At least until I was in my 30's...But, he did go to the 50th Normandy Anniversary with a friend who was on Omaha...Bill Koll came back from there and won 3NCAA titles and never lost a match while wrestling for Northern Iowa...Bill became my brother's coach at Penn State and my father and he developed a close relationship that still exists...
