OK, Don, here's your info. Sorry I forgot to post it sooner. As you can see from reading these briefs, NETE and enCommerce do indeed fulfill a similar function. This is a very important, rapidly growing market segment, with room for more than one player. Obviously, information security is important. But that's not all. Businesses are using these products as an aggregation point to relate each customer to different different products and services he/she uses. In most companies, this information is unconnected, which makes it difficult to present "one face" to the customer. We gave two awards because the two companies appeal to different kinds of customers. NETE has excellent grass-roots appeal with developers, which is very important for acceptance in decentralized companies. enCommerce appeals to companies implementing global brand strategies and portals.
