What a lot of people are probably wondering

What will the spark be for a potential run up, and how will it be sustained? It seems like there is a wait and see or "show me" attitude now by looking at the volume, again which is about 100,000 3 hours into the day, or about 2% that of QCOM as an example. The volume is indicative of interest (or apathy).

The onus is on management to produce, if finicky shareholders and potential ones are not impressed in a major and huge way, then it is a stretch to think that hope and perhaps complacency will win out over the perception of this as just a stock that should be sold as soon as news is put out, and ignore it the rest of the time. Great management, great company fine, but that does not automatically translate into success for the shareholders.
Look no further than all the value stocks that have been pummeled for 2 years in the market now, making money hand over foot. The new home builders for instance, many companies with fantastic management and institutional interest, are still trading at the same stock prices in some cases from 1980, 20 years ago. Earnings are growing 40% a year for example. The fundamentals just aren't doing it, these are boring companies that have been tagged with unfair labels.

One thing I personally want to know quite soon is, what will the company do specifically to blunt the impact of the increasing competition. The 3 things this week earlier mentioned are just the latest. What will the strategy be to one-up and jump ahead in certain areas, since falling behind the curve in the internet age for a company this size and not either setting the pace or rapidly adapting to exponential changes won't be acceptable either from a shareholder position or anyone else involved.

Branding and advertising exposure is also very important and synergistic for the above but that should be obvious. I just hope they do more. Much more.

I would hope that those who attend the meeting will ask more than just softball questions, and hopefully get great answers in return to some pressing concerns. It is important, being complacent is very dangerous for all involved.

The "other" Jon on the board =)
