I think that they gov't has no business telling me how to raise my children and I don't want the gov't to get into the censor business........that's my job as a parent. If my child goes to the public library, uses the computer to access porno then the librarian can call me and I'll handle the problem. Or, the librarian can bar him from computer access again. Why are you not equally against children walking into drugstores where adult books are located? Afterall, they MIGHT just see the book. The religious right is so sure that kids are going to try to access porno.......yet they adopt the "just say no" concept to condom availability. Quite a dichotomy! Many people who don't like the public schools simply find a private school or put their children into home school programs. Someone must decide what to teach kids in a public school or there would be complete chaos. We elect school boards for that reason and they in turn hire the administration and teachers for the districts.
