This obviously hurts COCN, but I understand that the main attraction is the Epalon series (1000,2000,3000). Epalon could still make COCN a bargain at the new price, but somehow I don't think there's any hurry to buy.

As for the "bioinformatics" idea, I get the impression that it's just catching on (and could still prove just a fad). Most of the companies I'm familiar with will pick out products as they go, and become the main developer of those (I called that "cherry picking" on the ARRS thread). ARRS and HGSI have both developed databases and/or screening
processes that they believe are superior and are doing contract work for other biotechs, as well as some of their own development. Others that I'm not quite as familiar with (so can't comment much) are Sequanna, Haughton, and there are a few others. I'm interested in "bioinformatics" because it seems a good way to limit risk and slow cash burn. I hate to have $$ in a stock like Cocensys when they cancel one of their main efforts and the stock drops 25 to 50% in minutes. Possibly "bioinformatics" will become the conservative way to make long term profits in this jungle of a sector.

So far, though, I don't think I have converted mz.
