Tele Danmark Chooses Nokia IP Security Appliance for Internet Services

Nokia and Tele Danmark Have Signed a Frame Agreement for the Supply of Nokia's IP Security Appliance Products.


HELSINKI, Finland--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 24, 2000-- Tele Danmark will use Nokia's integrated solutions to offer advanced fixed network Internet services to small, medium and large size corporations as well as municipalities and the civil service. Tele Danmark will act as the host for its customers' VPN and Firewall services. Alternatively, the customers may purchase the appliance from Tele Danmark, which will then be acting as the distributor of the products.

Nokia will supply Tele Danmark with its IP security appliance solution, including VPN 200, IP330, IP 440 and IP 650
products with related customer services. The Nokia offering integrates Check Point Software Technologies' market leading FireWall-1/VPN-1 software with the Nokia high performance, high availability IP security appliance providing customers with the industry's best VPN/security appliance solution.
