Gerald, You can bet they are discussing adding Intel these days after seeing the divergence between the Dow and Nasdaq. They still want to be referred to as the market and will do whatever it takes to keep that title. Cisco to be the 1st company to hit 1 trillion according to an analyst a few weeks ago.
Of course, the people in charge of selecting Dow stocks are thinking about this.
OK, I am now starting my add Cisco to the Dow campaign. OR maybe not. Maybe it should be to get Intel and MSFT back out of the Dow.

I don't think Cisco stock gains much if they are added.
