I haven't seen WTRS mentioned on SI yet. ----------- Message 12976002 I bought some WTRS based on an aquisition they are doing. They are merging with a privately held fibre optics company. The company is called Garrett. Here is their website. garrettcom.com garrettcom.com Waters has a market cap of 19mln based on today's quote. They only have 1.48mln shares outstanding and 900k in the float. It jumps fast so if you buy use a LIMIT order please! Terms of the deal are- Waters issue 375k shares of WTRS stock and 2.25mln in cash. Also 110k warrants. The risk is the deal doesn't get done. It goes to a shareholder vote March 15. No reason not to believe it doesn't get done but who knows with these things. It's a local company to me so I will be there and cast my vote. One other stipulation was the stock must be above 6 at the time of the deal closing. Doesn't look to be a problem. Garrett had revenues for the 9mo's ending Sep 30 of 8.3mln and net income of 398k (revs up 40% from '98 and net was up about 128%) edgar-online.com. As always do your own DD.
