Scumbria, <Do you really believe that the frame rate is 1/2 Celeron?> Wouldn't surprise me if this turns out to be the case, or even if "real production silicon" makes it to 2/3 Celeron. I think Via is gambling on the notion that buyers of sub-$800 computers don't care about the performance of 3D games. And to an extent, they're right. Of course, Via's poor FPU makes for very bad publicity. "Are you sure you want to sacrifice 3D and floating-point performance, not to mention reliability, just to save $50 on your PC, ma'am?"
