what did you think of the 750 MHz Floppermine being competitive with the 850 MHz AthWIpey in most benchmarks - and FASTER in about 30% of them?

I think Coppermine is a good chip. It will look even better compared to Athlon when the clock speeds move closer to 1 GHz.

But when AMD chips with on-die L2 come on line, the performance lead will swing back to AMD (Integer lead. Even vanilla Athlon still leads in FPU arena).
