Emulex Announces Support for HP's Open SAN Initiative

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 25, 2000-- Emulex Corp. (Nasdaq:EMLX - news), a leader in fibre channel products and technology, Friday announced support for Hewlett-Packard Co.'s Open Storage Area Networking (SAN) Initiative.
The HP Open SAN Initiative will provide storage hardware, software and services for SANs deployed in mission-critical open system environments. HP's Open SAN Initiative is part of the overall HP Equation architecture for intelligent storage architecture, which includes management software, open infrastructure, inter-operability and integration programs.

The Emulex Host Bus Adapter Family
Emulex offers a family of host adapters designed for enterprise and open systems environments.
