Given the minimal cost of solid UTP (untwisted pair) cat 5 cable UTP stands for Unshielded Twisted Pair, it at least as twisted as any other type of networking cable <g>. I know, it was probably just a typo or brain fart, I had to clarify that detail for anyone lurking about.
