Max, aren't we all...playing what's in favor i mean....:)

however, we haven't yet seen what happens when the market panics, as it hasn't done that for quite a while. in early October '98 it didn't matter much how favored a stock was...if i remember correctly utilities and tobacco stocks were the only game in town then, too mundane for most of todays traders.

mind you, i'm not necessarily predicting a panic here, only saying that it's time to tread carefully. you may remember my post where i stated that we are entering a high risk time segment. well, we're right in the middle of it still.

that's an untested assumption i fear.

as to the potential for various sectors, who's to say that the biotech profit potential isn't for real? i agree however that the sectors you mention DO have potential for major revenue growth, beyond doubt.
the question which neither you nor i can answer is how much of that is already priced in.
