ARCI operations 1997-2000(e), + ->1992's record year for profits:

Revenue/Gross Profit/Operating Income/Net Income

->1992: 15304/7213/2174/1228
1997: 11979/4990/(489)/(748)
1998: 13612/3981/(2744)/(3056)
1999: 15000/6500/1300/500
2000: 16000/7000/2000/1200

Margins % 1997-2000(e), + ->1992's record year for profits:

Gross/Operating/Net

->1992: 47.1/14.2/8.0
1997: 41.7/(4.1)(6.2)
1998: 29.2/(20.1)(22.5)
1999: 43.3/8.7/3.3
2000: 43.2/12.5/7.5

1998 had some major writeoff's for shutting down appliance shredding in Minneapolis, which hit margins hard.

1998 and 1999 had retail rightsizing, Y2K, and litigation expenses which hit margins hard.

2000 may be a full year of clean, tight, record profitable operations.

The most profitable year in ARCI's history was 1992 when ARCI was raking in the money recycling appliances for electric utilities' energy conservation programs.

2000 can be a record year for profits if ARCI beats my ballpark figures by a small amount.

GO ARCI!
1992
