BSES Appoints Andersen to Draw Business Plan for Internet Arm

Mumbai, Feb. 26 (Bloomberg) -- BSES Ltd., an Indian power generation and distribution company, has appointed Andersen Consulting LLP, a U.S.-based management consultancy firm, to chalk out a business plan for its subsidiary, BSES Telecom Ltd., the Business Standard reported citing R.V. Shahi, the company's chairman. BSES Telecom holds a license to provide Internet services. 'We have a natural advantage (to provide Internet services) due to our distribution business,' the daily quoted Shahi as saying.
