Re: "Perhaps I'm a little disappointed by DELL's failure to maintain any recent gains, I guess - I am actually starting to see some signs of life in their strategy. But the arrogant boasts of the last year - the quote you supplied, the "50%" boast, the comments about "AAPL might as well liquidate", and the rest - just throw salt in the wounds as far as I'm concerned after a year of flat to down performance. I didn't like those boasts when I first heard them and I don't like them now. Winners don't need to boast, the record says it all."

Rudedog great post cause this is exactly how I felt after Friday's trading in Dell. But my investing sense told me the real world doesn't react the way I perceive it should. It was my own expectations that created frustration. I want Dell at $75 yesterday so they have failed me terribly. Now I must accept reality and wait or make the decision to depart and brave new ventures as Dell is no doubt doing.

This time Dell is not weakening on it's own but due to the entire market, February effect (second only to September) and MSFT/INTEL weakness. I choose to wait awhile longer before giving in to those emotional weaknesses.

Truthfully it is not polite to kick somebody when they stumble. Just as you do not like idle boasting others dislike impatient musings IMO.
