Shamsaee I remember this click-clack snippet from a while ago where Tom claims that the true cost of a Mercedez is $250K but extracted in installments over the life of the car... Post sales service is indeed a very lucrative part of the business for Carriers and Mitsubishis. However, this still does not preclude them from adapting a program such as LonWorks for their own internal benefit while continuing to drive the maintenance deals. I am sure they also jack up the prices just a wee bit for the Sheiks. From what I remember the common saying was the IBM consultant's meter started when he left the hotel lobby to visit you.
