"My money will stay in CSCO for the foreseeable future." Gilder is talking about new optical technology which "excludes ... upgrading CSCO routers". Also "ascendant technologies, which have absolutely nothing in common with CSCO routers." Even if he is right, CSCO could very well change with the technology, as it has done in the past. I know a little about software and nothing about hardware; what do you think?
