So what are the Chinese going to do with that Biological warfare technology?

Attack us?

I think we've been there before.. It was called the cold war. And neither side used the extraordinarily deadly weapons they possessed. And the Chinese could have obtained their technology from any number of sources, but it just happened to be the US. (not defending it... just admitting that theft of technology is inevitable)

In fact, the strategy of "M.A.D." (mutually assured destruction) has effectively guaranteed the peace and limited the actions of the superpowers to limited wars carried out by their proxies.

Why would the situation with China be any different?

You have to think beyond the hype. Sure, the Chinese can raise and army larger than the population of the US. But to directly threaten us they have to transport that army (and equip, train, and supply it). If they use biological weapons, they guarantee an massive retaliation by the US (yes, I've no doubt we still have bio-weapons in our arsenal).

And using biological weapons is tantamount to opening Pandora's box. The next thing you know, you find your own people contracted the very disease you sought to inflict on your enemies. The Russians have considerable experience with this. In fact, it can be said that the Russian bio-war program has killed more of its own citizens than it has the enemy.

Regards,

Ron
