I suspect I too would follow Malone, Murdoch and Thompson.

One should not forget AT&T in this equation, the parent of Liberty Media, or Microsoft's stake in both AT&T ($5 billion) and Thomson (7%). If AOL-Time Warner takes a stake in this Platform Co. as reported, then this umbrella casts even a larger shadow. It is co opertition defined.

Gemstar's market is clearly defined as an interface or facilitator of this converged content. Most articles I have read call Henry's eBook move a disconnected one but I see it as a logical extension of facilitating user, content, distribution and machine.
