PS: Do your friends say "Bite me"?
Sure... and I say, "Where?"
;-}>
Actually, the manifesto really worked for me... It was a way for me to put down in writing what I really think and want to do.
When I did it, I began by making a list of "occupations" that I could really find enjoyment doing...with absolutely no regard for money, power, time, age, qualifications, or any of the other "things" that usually stop me from envisioning how I would really like to live my life.
It was a truly liberating experience to create the list and then look at it...and I mean REALLY look at it and think, "What am I NOT doing these things? What is stopping me?"
The list also helped me to get a better understanding of who I am.. what means the most to "me" in life... when I'm not trying to be something for everyone else....
And like I said, when I start losing my direction and can't figure out where to go next, I just get out my own map and look at it to remind myself of what matters to me...
Oooopss... here I am sounding so serious!!! Rather out of character don't you think??
BTW, the story on my World Weekly News desktop calendar for today is...
Girl Raised By Alligators in Florida Everglades!
thatsa me!!!
