< Always interesting to see what others are viewing in their crystal ball>

I have been reading these posts with great interest.

In the last 3 years, I have got close to buying COMS on many occasions, but never pulled the trigger, because I have no faith in EB & Co executing. I am a "buy and hold" investor with typically a 1 to 3 year horizon. Finally jumped in at 35 a short while ago, solely due to the PALM ipo.

Here's my quick take:

If one's looking for quick gains, take partial profits before IPO, then be flexible to bail out shortly thereafter (i.e. no emotional attachments to PALM!). This will be my strategy.

If one's a PALM believer, then still take partial profits, and hang on to the rest (like what my son proposes doing). $64 questions is: will PALM's management be able to execute going forward?

COMS sans PALM - not worth much, others have much more proven track records.

Just my 2 cents' worth.
