mact, i am long avnx, quite long for me. i find it very hard to get a handle on the technology. i pretty much understand the claims for the PowerMux, but HOW can they pack in 100's - even thousands - of channels - when the most advanced today is 160 channels, and what is actually shipped (by others, using gratings, which I think avnx does not use) at best is 50 Ghz, which is 60 channels. How is never made clear. Nor has it been publicly demonstrated, as far as i can learn. If it's a patent, why not let us all know? same thing with the PowerShaper, if that's a patent, why not demonstrate it?
mact, if you have some data on this I hope you will post it.
i am in it, because Simon Cao is famous, but the best of us - even I - can sometimes go haywire. why are you strong on it?
I think what andy's worried about is that on March 25, insiders have the right, if I have this correctly, and in what Gilder says is highly unusual, to sell 25% of the stock.
I hope you will let me know anything positive you have on avnx.
