Someday, i will spend a month in antarctica along with several other places on the globe... One of the things that interests me in the south pole is the abundance of meteorite fragments that are just available on top of the ice. Their just waiting for someone to pick them up. but until then I'll be happy and enjoy the battle of the ticks... [we have blood thirsty ticks in this part of the world, ready and willing to gorge themselves on sweet juicy nectar]... On one hike I took last year, my wife and I saw hundreds of wood ticks and everytime you took a step there were 10 more that would jump on your boots and start their slow trek upwards....
