It might just be that the investment world travels on internet time, which was not the case when either Gorilla Game books were available (or at least I did not know it at the time. The retrospective review of watching the basket unfold story as proposed in both FM's still holds but you better not blink. As such, a story stock with a value chain developing will accelerate in price pre-chasm crossing a lot faster than when the manual was written, IMO.

Therefore, the cost of waiting to cross the chasm and knock down bowling pins in horizontal markets may not be worth the wait for the unclewest type of story stock. This requires taking a earlier position than might be expected by the book and watching your holdings like a StockHawk.
