Jim; I absolutely agree with your synopsis of the MS/IW relationship. I floated this idea on the RB board prior to the Windows 2000 release and didn't receive too much feedback. I also thought it unlikely that MS would take an equity stake in IW given their current state of litigation with the U.S. Justice Department.
IW's Office Enabler seems to be a perfect fit for MS's W2000. Wireless Knowledge has missed the boat and they're toast in my opinion.
