An interesting article on women and investing....

"Don't marry a millionaire, become one!"
New 'Women of The Street' making it online

"LOS ANGELES (CBS.MW) -- Just five short years ago the Web was a
"guy thing." Over 85 percent of all Web surfers were male. Today's users
more closely match national demographics. In fact, some forecasters are
even saying women will soon outnumber men on the Web

So watch out guys, women are taking over, invading your turf. Competing
against you for the big bucks. Doing it online. Beating The Street. Beating
you at your own game. In fact, some are so successful, the "man of the
house" is becoming a "kept man." These new "Women of The Street" sure
don't need TV game shows to find a millionaire -- they are the
millionaires!

'Stay-at-home-mom' scores $2 million

For example, last year we featured a "Stay-at-Home-Mom" (her term)
who told us all about how she quit her job in 1994 as a software engineer
to raise children. Did it just as the Web was emerging. Became one of the
first women trading online. Not only did the kids do well, she parlayed the
family's $100,000 portfolio into a $2 million nestegg in just 5 years. Quite
a success story, guys! Did you do as well?"

I liked this article...a positive article on the ability of women to believe in themselves, and do well with their investment choices!
