join the W&W group, though Sir Chartmeister hasn't announced his decision yet Sir Chartmeister has been busy being probed for seven hours by wonderful employees of a recent-IPO in Mountain View (some of whom may have been convinced to read this thread :o) for a potential real-world job (!!) for the summer and working on a case study for the last thirteen hours ;). Let it be known that I have indeed followed ELON with interest since unclewest's post thursday. Most interesting is the fact that my father car-pools with an engineer who is currently incorporating ELON's product into my father's company's main cash-cow. Evidently ELON's product (the software/chips[?] that allow machines/appliances to be networked) is a much better solution than the competition (they were considering a product called CAN from Siemens as well), but this engineer wasn't too impressed with the people from ELON (to put it nicely ;o). After the recent stock performance of ELON and CREE, I am beginning to think that stocks on this thread are becoming a self-fulfilled prophecy with the huge number of members and lurkers that are on this thread. In the near future, I hope to do a study on the matter (during quarter break!). I am close to making the new addition of ELON to my watch list, but I am going to need to see a full blown gorilla hunt post before I make the addition (since the GH is the feeder tank to my portfolio).
