It's funny how these takeovers seem to happen when the target company's shares have been battered. Last week IBM announced takeover of LGS.A . Those shares were under $10. until talk of takeover almost doubled them. LGS kept denying all speculation - until it was revealed that the main owners had made an agreement with IBM. Many got screwed out of LGS shares based on LGS denials, and there may be lawsuits there..... Anyway, IMO no-matter who says what, BIDS is a big takeover target(smoke & fire), but you won't know it until it's halted and the deal is basically done..... Good Luck
