Gersh it is done all the time. Usually they would manipulate the stock higher into option expiration and the next Monday the stock will drop several points.

What this means that the option writes are not buying back the stock that was assigned (the stock that was sold)due to option expiration.

Regardless MM are then manipulating the stock higher to write more option.
