I am as curious about the 16 companies as you are. The NeikkeiNet provided headlines, but content is only accessible by subscribers.

I am also puzzled by the lack of follow=up (of the story) by US and international wire services.

Will share if I have some confirmed information.

PS: It amazes me how the SI folks just accept everything/anything they want to hear without checking its authenticity. I too, like everyone else, wish the news is true, but will remain guarded until it is confirmed.
