Thanks for the link on Ovonic Unified Memory. The company, ECD (Energy Conservation Devices) has been at the forefront of discovering new and novel ways to make things. The problem is that nothing materializes. Not long ago, they trumpted a superior product that would replace the LCD screen. Before that, they had a superior solar photovoltaic device. If you want to see good quality large LCD displays, look at the glass made by Corning, now appearing on some of the large size flat TV's. If you want to see a really efficient solar cell, look at Astropower (APWR), which has the patents for producing crystaline silicon in large rolls. I would consider the Ovonic announcement has having little credibility. If it is credible at all, something might come of it in three or four years, or later. Art
