It's not like we 'classic folks', as you put it, are hard to please imho.
The Dryers didn't seem to have any problem at it ... They:
1. Made SI legible
2. Made SI load like a greased pig, not this fat sloppy one
3. Made SI simple and elegant, not cluttered like this
4. Made SI capable of ascii character sets to accommodate languages other than US english ... and hey, even US english has the odd word of french or german that should be considered incorporated after all this time and wouldn't it be nice to be able to spell them correctly ... what a concept, lol
5. Made SI searchable and easily scanned with the hundred-ranges
6. Made SI so that a person could find posts to him in the freaking Inbox

... there's more but i have to make coffee now ... cheers
