I have never been able to fathom how "real" daytraders manage to make money doing hundreds - or even 50 - trades a day, and trading for 1/8'th.

I find I do best when I keep it to no more than 3-4 round turns. A more typical day for me is 2-3.

MOST of the day, the market is not tradable. And it isn't tradable every day, either.

I think the opponents of day-trading may be onto something, particularly with regard to the day-trading firms that set-up trading rooms. Surely, they must encourage high-volume trading.

I doubt they would tolerate my taking up space in one of their trading rooms doing 3-4 round turns a day - somebody else may see what I am doing! :)
