Torben, I don't own the stock so have no bias. The latest 10Q (and perhaps earlier ones) I believe mentioned a patient lawsuit. The NYU person claimed on YAHOO that they no longer use Adcon (because of the potential risk of excessive scarring if there are minor surgical tears?). If this is factually accurate, the two are related, and the lawsuit is not frivolous - then it seems to me there could be a problem.

In my opinion, the only rational explanation for the large increase in short interest in the last month AFTER the FDA problem was resolved is conviction that there is a potentially serious problem.

However, I would remind the shorts of the Bob Wilson experience with Resorts International 20 or so years ago, in the most highly publicized short squeeze in history. He was totally right with his fundamental view and got killed when the stock went up 10 times in a massive short squeeze, before collapsing to where he expected it to go in the first place.
