A few things, Schmandel and all. . .

First, I wasn't implying anything about baby boomers, per se.

Are these people so insecure in their belief that they must cram it down the throats of everyone else's children?

It is true that those without a fear of God crammed their beliefs down the throats of congress at a time when there was little resistance. They slipped one by. And our children were the ones to suffer from those with fear of religion.

The courts made a mistake in interpreting the constitution. . .plain and simple. . . those yelling about "separation of church and state" were reading between the lines. . . the constitution ONLY says that government will not favor or disfavor any church. . . nor will it make any laws that favor or disfavor any church. That is it. That is all there is to the "separation of church and state". Read it.

A few years ago, President Clinton sent a directive illustrating this point. . . saying that there were no laws against prayer in school and that the right for children to pray during school hours would be upheld. Unfortunately, some schools still have cold feet about it. On the other hand, there are still some public schools where prayer is encouraged. . .and teachers that frame evolution within creation. And we are still free to move where our personal beliefs are upheld. . . .which partly explains why I live in Nashville.

I love that new organization of the world's top scientists that have congregated to discuss how wrong science has been over the decades. . . and what must be done to UNDO teaching that has come from these incorrect premises. I'd appreciate anyone with links to this, to post.

Yes, as we move forward on allowing children to pray and have religious beliefs without being mocked by their school/teachings. . .in such locations, crime does seem to drop. It is truly a fascinating topic.
