Until we see a sustainable demand for Athlons while Intel isn't capacity constrained, I don't think Intel's profitability will be affected. We haven't seen that yet and we may not see it in the future especially if Intel Intel matches or beats Athlon speeds which I think they will. That's why I think AMD should convert Fab30 to Flash because there is a market for that now.

Sustained profitability leads to enhanced shareholder value. Jerry won't do this because enhancing shareholder value is not high on his priority list and Jerry calls the shots. Continuing his relentless vendetta against Intel is Jerry's motivation and until AMD shareholders throw the bum out there will be a restraint on AMD's shareprice potential.
