I agree. In fact, I recently read an article about an insider of a volatile tech company who was pretty distraught by the wild swings in stock price of his company. Most of his money was tied up in his own company's stock and therefore his networth was as erratic as his company's stock.

Bottom line, he finally opted to sell 30,000 of his 100,000 shares because he was nervous about the market, etc. He sold well before a significant run-up in stock price. These guys are just like you and me - locking in their gains at wrong times and at right ones.
