btw, i'm checking nc newsgroups right now for the skinny on 4.72... i see the normal problems with downloading, as one would expect with any new upgrade. one poster said 4.72 "is not yet approved by most banking software and stock trading sites, so I would forgo this one". another poster was complaining quite extensively and was remarking about the number of 4.72 problems he was seeing on the newsgroups. so one of the most respected (imo) 'champions' replied... "You MUST realize that what you see here are the folks with problems and NOT the other 95% of those that are NOT having problems. The ones without problems don't visit here to tell us so, they come here to get help. And those that DO get help are in the vast majority and are continuing to enjoy the product. However, if 4.61 is working ok for you then don't fix it if it ain't broke !!! Communicator 4.7 is a VERY stable release ............ Jay" me? i'll wait a bit. keep an eye on things, then go for it. i've had good results with keeping current on netscape releases. :) mark
