Personally, I use a SonicWall firewall appliance here at
home. I have a couple of them. One for DSL and one for
my wireless cable modem. You can find them at
www.sonicwall.com. I highly recommend them. Easy to
configure, allows me to sleep at night.

I'm not up on the latest security software. I hear there
are a number of them. Hopefully, someone else can help
you out in the software department.
