that comment sucks... And so does the Canadian taxation system. Why else do you see so many Canadian artists/performers opting to reside in the US. I remember a comment about Canadian taxes by Geddy Lee of Rush. He stated that they had never considered obtaining US citizenship like so many of their counterparts in the music industry, although they would certainly be far wealthier if they had.
